Endowed Chair Naming

By naming a chair in honor of yourself, your family, or a loved one, you contribute to the financial health and artistic culture of the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, ensuring our orchestra remains a cultural pillar within our city for generations to come. Named chair opportunities begin at $10,000 and help to cultivate a special bond between musician and benefactor which demonstrates a mutual love for music and strong desire to share that passion for music with others.

For a gift of $10,000 you will be recognized with an endowed principal chair of your choice within the symphony for three seasons, with right of first refusal for renewals. A Music Director endowment is $20,000 for three seasons and a Concertmaster endowment is $15,000. Endowments (designated in the program with an E) may be made by individuals, couples, or by family and friends in memory of a loved one. For example, the Dr. Janet Franklin Principal Clarinet Chair (E), the Max & Judy Peters Concertmaster Chair (E), or the Principal Timpani Chair (E) by Family & Friends of Richard Thompkins. Endowments will be recognized on each concert program, on its own designated page on the BSO's website, and on social media each season.

If you would like to become the benefactor of an endowed principal section chair, or would like to know further information about this process, please contact BSO staff by calling the BSO office at (918) 336-7717 or by email at outreach@bartlesvillesymphony.org
